Biography

1991: Completed master’s program at Graduate School, Waseda University.
After working at IEA of Japan Co., Ltd.(engaged in research on radioactive waste disposal) and Pesco Co., Ltd. (engaged in underground resource exploration (uranium, groundwater/hot spring) and dissemination of geoscientific research), joined this institute in 2010.

Major Achievements
  • Work experience: Engaged in light water reactor development project at this institute. In addition to working as the project secretariat, worked in the research of trends in nuclear power development and safety regulations in major countries, as well as the latest trends in nuclear safety-related activities of international organizations.
  • Qualification: P.E.Jp (Applied Science), Certified Weather Forecaster
