Major Achievements
- Nuclear Power Plant Licensing: Construction approval (seismic design) for Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 5, Chubu Electric Power Company; licensing for Tokai low level radioactive waste burial facility
- Development of earthquake-resistant design technology: Participation as an expert from a plant manufacturer in the “Advanced Earthquake-resistant Design Study” (commissioned by the Nuclear Power Engineering Corporation (NUPEC))
- Development of operation training simulator: Tokai No.2 Power Station (BWR) and Tsuruga Power Station Unit 2 (PWR)
- Scientific and engineering calculations: Structural and fluid calculations (NASTRAN, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, FLOW-3D), core design (PANAC11), activation calculations (DORT, ORIGEN)
