Completed doctoral program at the University of Tokyo, and joined Energy Research Laboratory, Hitachi Ltd. in 1993. Worked for reactor cores and safety systems, innovative reactor developments. After working in Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy, Ltd. and Hitachi-Europe Ltd. in UK, joined IAE in 2017.
