After having earned, ME, Chem. Eng. from Waseda Univ., joined Chiyoda Corp. and worked for design of petroleum and chemical plants. As an engineer of Chiyoda, studied in West Virginia Univ., USA, earned PhD from Kyushu Univ. and a license of PE, USA. In 2000, joined IAE and Advisory Fellow since 2023 after Executive Director, R&D Division.
